This 8x25 construction rope has been compacted for added strength and has a diameter of 16mm.
Most of the wire rope in our range is left as-is after the strands and bundles are woven together. Our 8x25 rope, on the other hand, is put through compaction to create a closely configured structure that is stronger and better able to handle shock loading.
This 16mm compacted rope comes with a 25.89 tonne WLL and a 253.9kN breaking force rating. That easily allows it to exceed the performance parameters of similar 1x19 and 7x7 rope.
The smooth finish of the surface created by the pressing process means this compacted rope is also less abrasive and will not suffer from fatigue due to bending.
Each of the wire rope products we sell can be customised to your liking. This includes the addition of ferrules, thimbles and other handy components, or the creation of a complete assembly.
