Its diameter may be modest, but 1.8mm of intertwined stainless steel strands still gets you a working load limit of 201kg. This configuration delivers a breaking load of 1.97kN. Which allows it to sit between a number of its stable mates in terms of ruggedness and reliability.
Made with AISI 150 standard stainless steel, this rope is effectively shielded against the effects of moisture exposure. To put it simply, it will remain rust-free for a protracted period, which is why it can be encountered in so many different industries.
